Who Dat & two inital monogram tumbler

I pray that each of you had a wonderful Holiday. This year my family hosted Christmas dinner, our home was full of family, laughter, and love... For the first time in over 50 years the RDU area of North Carolina had a white Christmas; therefore our guests left a little earlier then expected:-(  Overall, we had an awesome day and I cannot wait until our next family gathering.
Now, on to our regular scheduled post, I have a couple more tumblers to share... The first tumbler was created for my sista Tsrel over on the Cricut MB... Every year, we exchange Christmas gifts... what better gift then a personalized who dat tumbler and ornament!

The second tumbler was created for an elderly lady that my cousin sits with during the week... According to my cousin, Ms. Finn " drinks out of the same cup everyday" so hopefully she will give this one a try...
I used the font Monotype Corsiva for the monogram, a svg for the scallop and butterflies that I pixel traced into MTC.

Hot Chocolate Cones...yummy

Can I say how awesome and cute these little cones are... well I said it anyway:-)
I "lifted" this idea directly from Heart in the Details blog; if you've never stopped by this blog please check it out, Andrea has some great projects and recipes to share...
Anywho, this year our family will be hosting Christmas dinner... I needed a quick and easy gift to give to our 35 guests so when I saw these on Andrea's blog I didn't need to look any further.  These were so easy to create we made it into a family project...

For this project you will need:
12 oz Wilton decorating bags
1 oz Hot Chocolate packets
mini marshmallows
mini chocolate chips ( we used choc, white, and peanut butter)
crushed peppermints (or not)
small rubber bands
ribbon and gift tags
Head on over to Andreas blog for step-by step details

I created my tag in MTC using the print and cut method... One side is a personal message and the other includes instructions...

My First Floating Frame!!!

After many months of saying that I wanted to create a floating frame, I've finally finished one!!! I'm a serious procrastinator, I'll see an idea, RUN out and purchase supplies and then let them sit for weeks sometimes months untouched...
So, when my cousin needed a Christmas gift for her ex-MIL I figured this would be the perfect occasion to use one of the floating frames that I snagged from AC Moore... This frame is 11x14; I used oracal vinyl with the Shishoni Brush and Aquarelle font.

The tissue paper is here for photo purposes only...

University Acrylic Tumblers & Cake...

I'm hooked on decorating these acrylic tumblers (they are sooo addictive)...
Anywho, as one of the holiday gifts for the kids teachers we personalized a tumbler with the teachers name or monogram and favorite University!!!
I found the college logos on sportslogos.net and used  MTC and Oracal 651 vinyl to complete the look.

Why, stop there... while browsing around Michaels, I picked up these super cute ceramic loaf pans...
My grandmother has the most amazing lemon poundcake recipe; what better time to share than the holidays!! Add some cellophane and ribbon and you have a nice little gift.

Glitter Ornaments

Hi blog family... I'm back with another post!!!
Over the weekend, the kids and I made glitter ornaments; the ornaments turned out perfect and they were so easy to make!
To create the ornaments we used clear glass ornaments (2 5/8), martha stewart fine glitter, doodlebug glitter for a couple of them and pledge w/ future shine  floor wax.
For the finishing touch we added names created in MTC with the Andantino JF font using oracal outdoor vinyl...

The kids wanted to thank Tameka and Nett for placing an order!

Milk and Cookies for Santa on the Run...We all know that Santa is super busy...
so I created a treat that was dash and go appropriate!!!!
Using an awesome MTC file from Dana and 2 sheets of 12x12 cardstock I was able to create this cute cookie box complete with yummy chocolate chip cookies ( the instructions were crystal clear and the box can be made in minutes)...
I finished it off by adding a simple PNC gift tag!
For the 16oz acrylic tumbler ( the tumblers are super sturdy, even the straw is acrylic and they arrive blank); which I purchased during a share on the Smart Gal MB I used oracal outdoor vinyl  and a adorable penguin file from the MTC gallery to make it more festive ( you can customize these anyway your creative heart desires). Makes a perfect gift for the Santa who's on a run!!

Cyber Crop Project 44 over on the MTC forum was to create a Picture Puzzle... This project was soooo much fun and will turn almost any image from ordinary to WOW!!!
I found both images on the web via google images, using the instructions and MTC file from the attached link I was able to re-create these awesome Picture Puzzles.  The first image was framed in an 8x10 frame and the smaller image in a 5x7 frame.
